He has previously held the positions of university lecturer and presenter at institutions such as the University of California, San Diego. Sandler worked as a faculty member in the executive education program at the University of California, San Diego.

He has also designed business degree curriculums for many other colleges, including the University of Phoenix.

The executive coach served as the director of enrollment at the University of Phoenix, the general manager of the San Diego office of Productivity Point, and an associate partner at C.G. before establishing The Sandler Group. Wright & Associates of San Diego, while a C.G. Executive coach and alums of UC Berkeley Wright & Associates specialized in corporate leadership. He helps companies with team execution difficulties, organizational change, and sales and marketing.

Leland Sandler graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1975. The former educator and executive coach obtained his bachelor's degree in history from UC Berkeley. After completing his history studies at the University of California, Berkeley, he got his secondary teaching certificates.

Seven years later, Sandler completed his master's degree in education at San Francisco State University. After getting a degree from San Francisco State University, he continued his study at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles County. In 1988, he completed his MBA at Pepperdine University and was awarded his diploma.

Personal interests and hobbies

Leland Sandler dwells in the picturesque mountain town of Morrison, Colorado, ten miles west of Denver. Morrison, a section of Jefferson County, is located towards the base of Bear Creek Canyon's complex terrain. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is the most well-known landmark in the city. The Red Rocks Amphitheatre is sculpted from a local natural rock feature.

Sandler has a range of interests and pastimes outside of his employment and charity activity. These hobbies and interests include cross-country skiing, hiking, photography, reading, and short story writing.
